[00:00:00] If you need to format a book, you’re not entirely sure how to go about it, but you’ve heard about Vellum and you want to check it out, you’re in the right place. If you already use Vellum and you want to make sure that you’re using it to its fullest capacity, then you’re in the right place. If you’re getting ready to level up your formatting and you want to do advanced chapter page designs, more customization of your print books and taking full advantage of what there is available for ebooks, then you’re in the right place—I’m going to go over all these things. 

[00:00:46] Because people learn differently, even though there are already some tutorials out there, and even the book I wrote on how to use Vellum, I wanted to record this and just let you see over my shoulder and watch from start to finish what I do in creating a book, what the details are without overwhelming you, because I want you to see if this will be a good fit for your project. 

[00:01:08] So I hope, whether you’re brand new, that this is going to be step by step enough that we can get through this together and without any confusion. But I also hope that if you’re a more advanced user, that this will be challenging enough for you and give you the tools that you want to make your books as amazing as they can be with Vellum.
